Andreas Biel
Andy founded HR Unlimited in 2002 after the Swissair grounding, which he experienced live as Head of HR at a Swissair company. He is married to Tanja and loves to spend his free time in Sedrun in the mountains in SAC huts or on his motorcycle. Cigars and World War II history complement his leisure interests.
Andy started his career in a travel agency as a commercial apprentice, before working in travel sales during many years of military service. Various further training courses, e.g. Bachelor of Business Administration, Master of Advanced Studies in HR or Change Management, set the course early on. Many international assignments, especially in the USA, where he worked for 4 years, and a longer assignment in Saudi Arabia for a defense company, characterize Andy’s working style, which is described by customers as very solution-oriented, straightforward and focused. He is clear and transparent with all partners, team-oriented, takes responsibility, but is also decisive and a leader. Andy also speaks and writes very good business English and knows many other cultures from his time abroad. He is a shrewd crisis manager, not only in the HR environment.
