Andy founded HR Unlimited over 21 years ago after having experienced the Swissair Grounding live as Head of HR Switzerland of the then Atraxis AG. He is married to Tanja and loves to spend time in his spare time in Sedrun on the mountains in SAC huts or on his motorcycle. Cigars and World War II history add to his leisure interests.

Andy started his career in the travel agency as a commercial apprentice, and then worked in travel sales for many years during his military service. Various further education, e.g. Bachelor of Business Administration, Master of Advances Studies in HR or Change Management show early the direction. Many international assignments, especially in the USA, where he worked for 4 years, and a longer assignment in Saudi Arabia for a defense company, characterize Andy’s working style, which is described by customers as very solution-oriented, straightforward and focused. He is clear and transparent with all partners, team-involving, responsible, but also decisive and leadership-oriented. Andy also speaks and writes very good business English and knows many other cultures from his stays abroad. He is a shrewd crisis manager, not only in the HR environment.
