Christoph Müller

Senior Interim Manager

Christoph is a passionate ice hockey fan who no longer plays active ice hockey, but presides over a 2nd division ice hockey club in the Zurich Oberland. He lives with his wife Ursula in Effretikon and has four grown-up children in a large patch-work family. He spends his free time on his motorcycle, in the garden or on the ski slopes. Christoph started his career after his commercial apprenticeship at Swiss Re in the engineering sector. There he was able to learn every facet of reinsurance for about 20 years. During this time, he lived and worked in South Africa for three years. After his return he worked for the German as well as the Asian market.

In 2000, he moved into the HR function and has since remained loyal to HR in many management roles. As Head of HR at Swiss Re, at Credit Suisse and at AXA Switzerland and PwC he was able to prove his HR executive skills. Since 2018, he has been a partner at HR-Unlimited, during which time he has been involved in industry mandates, but also primarily in the healthcare sector. His hobbyhorses are “employer branding”, “change management” and “culture development”. He feels most comfortable in a role with overall responsibility in HR or Operations. Linguistically, he speaks German and English at native level, French Afrikaans and Zulu at comprehension level.
