Tanja Biel

Managing Partner

Tanja has been with HR Unlimited since August 2013 and also founded Executive Unlimited GmbH, a sister company active in executive search, in January 2014. Prior to her time as an interim manager, she worked in various HR management and specialist functions, most recently as HR Director at Gate Gourmet Switzerland at the airport in Zurich. Mostly she worked in the industrial environment, where she was able to learn HR from scratch. In her private life she is married to Andy and likes to spend her free time with sports, in nature and especially in the mountains as well as in beautiful places. She also enjoys riding along with Andy on his motorcycle and she loves animals.

Tanja completed a commercial apprenticeship and already decided before that that her path should lead into HR. She held interesting HR roles at a young age and was able to gain her first management experience early on. Continuing education has always been very important to Tanja, and she has constantly pursued further education (e.g. HR specialist with federal certificate, management assistant with federal FA, Master of Advanced Studies in HRM and trainer SVEB). She has been a passionate lecturer in HRM and leadership at various adult education institutes for over 20 years and is also an enthusiastic seminar leader for retirement preparation courses. Tanja’s working style is described by her clients as very trustworthy, solution-oriented, empathic as well as focused and with a healthy pinch of humor. Tanja also speaks and writes very good business English and can communicate well in French.
